Gift Wrapping & Notes
Nothing that arrives shows a price. Every order leaves without an invoice in the box, so anything you send straight to someone else is already safe to open in front of them.
No prices, ever, in the parcel
- The packing slip inside the box lists what is inside and who it is from — never what you paid.
- Your receipt goes to your email, not to their doormat.
- This is automatic. There is no box to tick and nothing to remember at checkout.
Adding a note
There are two different places to write, and they do different jobs. Getting them the wrong way round is the single most common mix-up we see.

Type it exactly as you want it to read. We copy it letter for letter, capitals and spacing included — GRACE and Grace come out as two different pieces. If a listing shows a personalization box, adding a name usually costs nothing extra. How it works: How Personalization Works.
How things are wrapped
Every shop packs its own orders, so the paper is not identical across the site — and that is deliberate. What is consistent:
- Wrapped to survive the post, not to survive a photo shoot. Handmade pieces get padded properly.
- Presentable on arrival. Most makers wrap in tissue or paper and tie it — ready to hand over as it is.
- Ask and most will go further. If you want ribbon, a particular colour, or the note handwritten, say so in order notes. Small shops nearly always say yes.
Sending it straight to the person

More than one shop in the order
Pieces from different makers are packed and posted separately, so they can arrive on different days. Each one arrives without prices. If they are all going to the same person for the same occasion, say so in order notes and the shops will usually try to line the dates up.
If it arrives wrong
A note that did not make it in, or a name spelled wrong, is fixable. Message the shop first — and if that does not resolve it, Ettee Purchase Protection covers you either way.
