Every order here supports a real, independent shop. That is the whole idea. What follows is what it means in practice — including the parts we have not solved yet.
The money goes to real shops
- Every shop on Ettee is an independent business with its own team, its own stock, and its own style. Meet them.
- We take no commission on shipping. What a buyer pays for shipping goes to shipping, not to us.
- No forced advertising fees. Some marketplaces make ads mandatory above a sales threshold and bill sellers 12% of the order on top. We do not. The full comparison is on What It Costs.
Every shop is reviewed before it can sell
A shop can’t just sign up and start selling here. We review the business behind it before it opens, and we keep checking shops and listings for as long as they sell. It takes longer than letting anyone in, and it’s why you can order from a shop you’ve never heard of with confidence.

- Every order is covered by Ettee Purchase Protection, whichever shop it comes from.
Why personalized gifts get kept
Made to keep. A gift with their name, a date that matters, or a few words from you isn’t one more thing to find room for. It’s the one they hold onto for years, long after the wrapping is gone.
That’s why most pieces here can carry a name, a date, or a short message, and why personalization is free.
Where your gift travels
We ship to 37 countries. Shops ship from the US, the UK, Germany, and elsewhere in the EU, so a wedding gift can cross an ocean and still arrive with the right name on it. Details on Shipping & Delivery.
What we have not fixed
An impact page that only lists wins is marketing. These are open:
- Shipping emissions. Every parcel has a carbon cost, and some cross an ocean. We haven’t solved that. We don’t offset it and pretend that’s the same thing.
- Packaging is uneven. Every shop packs its own orders, so materials vary. We can’t yet promise recycled or plastic-free packaging, so we don’t.
- We can’t trace every material yet. We verify every shop and review its listings, but we can’t yet trace where every material comes from, and we won’t claim otherwise.
What a buyer can do
- Order earlier. It lets you choose standard shipping over express, and it gives the shop time to get every detail right.
- Buy one good thing. A piece that lasts ten years beats three that last one.
- Leave a review with a photo. For an independent shop, one honest review does more than any ad we could buy.
