Where did my interest in crafts begin? I'm going to tell you a tale!
-----If given the chance, I would want to show you around my hometown, Hoa Lu, the old capital of Vietnam. This is the heartland of hand embroidery.
-----I'll never forget the lovely memories of my youth, when I was five years old and practiced spelling each word while my mother and grandma worked hard at needlework next to me. They embroider in order to help pay for my school and family needs.
-----That is true of not only my family, but also the majority of the surrounding households. Women embroider in their spare time in addition to growing wet rice, conducting housework, and caring
